- Learn the fundamentals of Utility software designed to help keep your PC in prime condition
- Learn what spyware and antivirus programs are and how they are used to defend your system from suspicious files and programs.
- Learn what a firewall is and how it defends your system from hackers and malicious programs intending to do harm.
Control Panel, Device Manager and Drivers
- Learn how to use the control panel for configuration, diagnostic assessment and disk management.
- Learn how to create and mount virtual drives, system images and back up plans to recover from ICT disaster
- How to use device manager to audit/remove/add to the system
- What drivers are and where they are used e.g. Graphics Card, Mouse
Diagnostics and Networking
- What diagnostic tools are and what tools are available
- Learn to build bootable pen drive containing diagnostic tools
- Sharing resources through networking fundamentals
- Configuring and troubleshooting networks
